A patient may want change and feel unsure about it at the same time. Explore resistance, avoidance, and
ambivalence without treating them as a lack of effort.
Course focus:
• Distinguish resistance, avoidance, and ambivalence.
• Explore mixed feelings about change and attending sessions.
• Name a pattern with curiosity rather than pressure.
• Consider how to respond when a patient pulls back from the work.

COURSE 102 — RELATIONAL RUPTURES, TRANSFERENCE & BOUNDARY TESTING
Every working relationship breaks somewhere, and most of them break quietly. This course is about
naming the break, and running the repair.
Course focus:
• Recognise a rupture early, before it becomes a decision to leave.
• See transference as it shows up in the room, not only in hindsight.
• Understand what a boundary test is asking for underneath the request.
• Run a repair: the sequence, and the sentences that make it work.

COURSE 103 — INTERPERSONAL CHARACTER STRUCTURES & RELATIONAL DYSREGULATION
Some patients bring the same pattern into every relationship, including the one with you. This is how to
see the pattern and stay steady in the room.
Course focus:
• Map the relational pattern that repeats across a patient's life.
• Understand why insight alone does not shift a character structure.
• Work with affect that floods the room without matching it.
• Stay regulated when the patient is not, and say something useful from there.
